Black History Month 2025
As we enter Black History Month 2025, we celebrate the powerful theme “African Americans and Labor,” which highlights the profound contributions of Black workers throughout American history. This year’s theme explores how work—whether free or unfree, skilled or unskilled—has been central to Black experiences and pivotal in shaping our nation’s economic and social landscape. The theme underscores the resilience of Black workers who have consistently fought against discrimination, organized for better working conditions, and created pathways for economic empowerment.
By reflecting on the extraordinary contributions, we honor the legacy of Black labor leaders and recommit ourselves to creating inclusive workplaces that recognize and celebrate the ongoing excellence of African American workers.
